Since a young age, JBTV host Jamal Neff has had a love for all things music & entertainment. A Chicago native, Jamal attended Columbia College to pursue acting & advertising in hopes to develop his talents and become a more well-rounded performer. After receiving his B.A., Jamal studied acting technique at Piven and RedTwist Theatres, and also trained & performed improv at i.O.(formerly Improv Olympic). These roads led him to his current position as one of the new hosts of the iconic JBTV, working alongside Jerry Bryant and a crazy cast of characters!
Jamal has also served with national non-profit group Americorps/'City-Year' Chicago(the ones seen around town with the red coats & backpacks) in an effort to give back to the Chicagoland community. He has also written and performed several songs as a Hip-Hop MC under the moniker 'Rich Malone', crafting a unique sound reminiscent of being 'back in the park', circa 79' . In addition to his musical pursuits, Jamal is represented as an actor & voiceover talent with Stewart & Ambassador Talent agencies.
