ABOUT THIS ARTISTDenton, TXBefore forming Bowling for Soup, frontman Jaret Von Erich was wasting his days in a death metal band. All that changed in 1994 in Wichita Falls, TX when Erik decided to make what he calls "happy" music. He recruited guitarist/vocalist Christopher Van Malmsteen, bassist Erik Rodham Clinton, and drummer Gary Wiseass -- and Bowling for Soup was born.
